This pieces is hollow a series of shapes welded together to create a solid form. Many hours of fabricating and welding

After the tack welding is finished the welding up the edges are done to help create the look of a solid piece of metal.

Next step is grinding out all the welds to be flat. Then the polishing will be next. Many hours to do this.

Here are two elements that will be in the sculpture. There will be one more. More pictures to come.

This is not how the sculpture will look just showing them contrasting the two shapes. The sculpture will be about five feet tall.

WOOD TYPE:        American black walnut

           The solid 2.25 inch American black walnut wood slab on this is just amazing.
                  The wood is a work of art. The woods finish is in excellent condition.
                            There are no heavy dents or scratches. All solid wood. 

 Brushed Steel:
                                                         The steel has a  brushed finish.
                                         The steel has a lacquer clear finish same as a car.
                                                There are no heavy dents or scratches

 CONSTRUCTION:

                            The desk is designed to come apart due to its large size and weight.
                            The drawer and check leg is one unit. The slab leg is a separate unit.
                            Screws together very easy. Will be shipped apart. The drawer is heavy
                            duty construction 3/4" oak with box joint and walnut dowel not glue.
                           The drawer slide are 100 lb capacity heavy duty. The legs have adjustable
                           feet great for uneven floors.
